ias PREVENT Check-Up Services and Costs.
Our "Classic" health check-up encompasses an extensive range of examination services, in particular comprehensive consultations with the attending physician. In contrast to typical conventionally insured medical examination environments, we dedicate far more time to documenting your previous medical history and current health-related complaints, clinical and technically-aided examinations, comprehensive consultation and the preparation of your comprehensive medical report.
Voluntary or compulsory members of statutory health insurance providers are not entitled to reimbursement for such comprehensive preventative examinations. Private health insurance providers on the other hand generally assume at least a portion of the costs depending on the individually agreed structure of the policy and the premiums.

Expanded Services
In addition to the "Classic" services of the ias PREVENT Check-Up, upon request or in the event of a medical indication we can also offer supplementary examinations including expanded cardiac, circulation and lung diagnosis, expanded medical imaging diagnosis, sports medicine examinations and biomechanical function analysis of the back, to name but a few.
Following your registration and prior to the actual check-up, you will receive a medical questionnaire featuring a detailed list of the available supplementary services. Your PREVENT physician will contact you after evaluating your questionnaire in advance of your examination appointment to consult with you on any of the supplementary services that you may want or have any questions about.
The costs for such supplementary services are generally your personal responsibility. In order to clarify any possible reimbursement on the basis of an ex gratia payment by your private insurance provider, you should contact the insurer in advance.

To maintain and improve your health and performance capability, we recommend having a PREVENT Check-up every two years. During the intervals between examinations you can always direct any questions related to your health to your personal PREVENT physician by telephone.
